Public Meeting on Cap-and-Trade Program Environmental Analysis: The presentation for the Public Meeting on Cap-and-Trade Program Environmental Analysis is now available. Please go to at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/capandtrade/meetings/meetings.htm#publicmeetings ARB is preparing a Functional Equivalent Document (FED) pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) to identify potentially significant environmental impacts of the proposed Cap-and-Trade regulation and feasible mitigation measures for such impacts. The cap-and-trade regulation and protocols for offsets will be considered by the Board in late 2010. The meeting will serve as the scoping meeting for the environmental document. Public and agency comments will be recorded to assist ARB in determining the scope and content of the FED. Meeting Time and Location: As a convenience to the public, this meeting will have a call-in option. If attending in person, we encourage you to take public transportation or drive low emission/high efficiency vehicles whenever possible.
