CalRecycle staff is seeking stakeholder input on the proposed AB 32 Mandatory Commercial Recycling regulation. Date: Wednesday, January 19, 2011 Time: 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Location: Cal/EPA Building, 1001 "I" Street, 2nd Floor Byron Sher Auditorium Sacramento, CA 95814 Directions: http://www.calepa.ca.gov/EPAbldg/location.htm The notice for the public workshop is available at: http://www.calrecycle.ca.gov/Actions/PublicNoticeDetail.aspx?id=332&aiid=319 The proposed mandatory commercial recycling regulation will reduce greenhouse gases by requiring businesses to recycle. Recycled materials can include, but are not limited to paper, plastics, glass, metals, cardboard, organics, food waste, and construction and demolition materials. The Draft Proposed Regulation and Summary of the Proposed Regulation have been posted to CalRecycle's website. These documents will be discussed at the Informal Stakeholder Feedback Workshop.
