This is to inform you that the California Office of Administrative Law approved the rulemaking for the amendments to the Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) for Stationary Compression Ignition Engines and filed it with the Secretary of State on May 19, 2011. The amendments to the ATCM also became effective on May 19, 2011. An updated Frequently Asked Questions will be posted in the near future at the following link to reflect the amendments to the regulation: http://www.arb.ca.gov/diesel/statport.htm. The ATCM reduces public exposures to diesel particulate matter from stationary diesel engines throughout California by establishing emission standards and operating requirements for new and in-use stationary diesel engines.
