Today, the Air Resources Board (ARB) is releasing the final LCFS Guidance Document Version 1.0. This document is intended to help answer questions we have received regarding the LCFS regulation; therefore, it is in a reader-friendly, question-and-answer format. As additional questions arise, staff will continue to revise this document, future versions of which will be numbered accordingly. LCFS Guidance Document Version 1.0 can be found at http://www.arb.ca.gov/fuels/lcfs/LCFS_Guidance_(Final_v.1.0).pdf If you have any questions regarding this document, or would like to submit additional questions, please contact Mr. Stephen d’Esterhazy, Air Resource Engineer, Substance Evaluation Section at (916) 323-7227 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. The Low Carbon Fuel Standard, a regulation to reduce the carbon intensity of fuels sold in California ten percent by 2020, is designed to help clean the air, protect the environment, and drive the development of clean, low-carbon fuels to improve California's energy security and energy independence.
