What's New List Serve Post Display

The California Energy Commision’s PIER staff has posted the
presentations and WebEx recording from the Workshop on Indoor
Environmental Quality Research Roadmap.  It can be found under
“July 28th Workshop” at:
http://www.energy.ca.gov/research/notices/index.html. The Air
Resources Board is forwarding this notice on behalf of the Energy
Commission.

The purpose of this workshop was to identify research priorities
for Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) research needed to inform
future Building Energy Efficiency Standards.  Research priorities
will be identified in the context of the State’s plans to
accelerate the construction of zero net energy buildings and the
retrofitting of existing buildings.  
 
The Energy Commission staff are looking for input from the
stakeholder community on the following: 
1) Likely scenarios related to achieving zero net energy
buildings and building retrofit goals that will affect the
quality of indoor air, acoustics, and thermal comfort
2) Research gaps, and 
3) Potential research topics to address those gaps
 
Please provide suggestions on research needed for future Building
Energy Efficiency Standards to Marla Mueller of the Energy
Commission at mmueller@energy.state.ca.us by August 11, 2011.
