Please note that the Public Hearing to Consider Adoption of a Proposed Regulation to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions by Requiring Mandatory Commercial Waste Recycling, notice for which was signed August 23, 2011 and published October 2, 2011, has been changed to a Public Meeting to Update the Board on Mandatory Commercial Recycling. ARB staff, in coordination with CalRecycle staff, will present to the Board an informational update on AB 341. The change is due to the recent Governor’s signing of Assembly Bill 341, which requires commercial waste recycling similar to the previously noticed proposal, on which the Board will not be taking action.
