arbcombo -- New Date for Public Workshop for the AB 118 AQIP FY 2012-13 Funding Plan

Posted: 23 Dec 2011 16:16:06
The Air Resources Board (ARB) invites you to attend a public
workshop on February 2, 2012 (revised date) to discuss
development of the AB 118 Air Quality Improvement Program (AQIP)
Funding Plan for Fiscal Year 2012-13 (FY 2012-13 Funding Plan).
AB 118 provides $30-40 million per year (depending on revenues)
through 2015 for the AQIP to fund a variety of air quality
incentive projects, including low-emission vehicle and equipment
projects, air quality research, and advanced energy technology
workforce training.

As part of developing the FY 2012-13 Funding Plan, ARB staff will
seek public input to evaluate the project categories funded in FY
2011-12 and evaluate potential funding of new categories.

The workshop is scheduled at the following new date and time:

Date: Thursday, February 2, 2012
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Place: Cal/EPA Headquarters Building
		Sierra Hearing Room, 2nd Floor
		1001 I Street
		Sacramento, California 95814

For more information about the AQIP, please go to:

If you have questions or require additional information, please
contact Johanna Levine at (916) 324-6971 or jlevine@arb.ca.gov.

Background: The Air Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) is a
voluntary incentive program administered by ARB to fund clean
vehicle and equipment projects through 2015. Each year the Board
approves the AQIP Funding Plan, which serves as the blueprint for
expending AQIP funds during the current fiscal year. The FY
2011-12 Funding Plan focused the AQIP on supporting two
deployment projects and three demonstration project categories
needed to meet California’s longer-term, post 2020 air quality
goals.
