carpa -- Demonstration of FTIR technologies - April 12, 2012
Posted: 29 Mar 2012 09:54:10
Please join us to learn how direct read instruments using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) can help us quickly identify and quantify chemicals in the field. In a continuing effort to update our partners on the latest technologies for airborne chemical sampling and monitoring, Gasmet will be providing a free demonstration of FTIR technologies for field chemical identification. This in-person workshop will include an overview and hands-on demonstration of the new Gasmet DX4040 Portable Ambient Air Analyzer (http://www.quantitech.co.uk/file264.aspx). Join us Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 1:00 - 3:30pm at ARB's Monitoring & Laboratory Division, 1927 13th Street, Sacramento, California. For more information or to RSVP, please email Shelley DuTeaux at sduteaux@arb.ca.gov ____________________________________________________________ The California Air Response Planning Alliance (CARPA) was formed in 2006 by the California Air Resources Board, the US Environmental Protection Agency, and the Governor's Office of Emergency Services.
