The Air Resources Board (ARB) invites you to attend a public workshop on January 23, 2013 to discuss development of the AB 118 Air Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) Funding Plan for Fiscal Year 2013-14 (FY 2013-14 Funding Plan). As part of developing the FY 2013-14 Funding Plan, ARB staff will seek public input to evaluate the project categories funded in FY 2012-13 and evaluate potential funding of new categories. The workshop will be held at the following time and place: Date: Wednesday January 23, 2013 Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Place: Cal/EPA Headquarters Building Sierra Hearing Room, 2nd Floor 1001 I Street Sacramento, California 95814 This workshop will also be webcast for participants unable to attend in person. Background: The Air Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) is a voluntary incentive program administered by ARB providing $30-40 million per year (depending on revenues) through 2015 for a variety of air quality incentive projects, including low-emission vehicle and equipment projects, air quality research, and advanced energy technology workforce training. Each year the Board approves the AQIP Funding Plan, which serves as the blueprint for expending AQIP funds during the current fiscal year.
