The Air Resources Board will conduct a public meeting to hear an
informational update on the Association of Bay Area Governments’
(ABAG) and Metropolitan Transportation Commission’s (MTC) Draft
Sustainable Communities Strategy, prepared pursuant to the
Sustainable Communities and Climate Protection Act of 2008.

The status of ABAG’s and MTC’s Draft Sustainable Communities
Strategy will be presented by ARB staff at the Board meeting.
The Board will not be taking any action on this informational
item at this meeting. The ABAG Board members and MTC
Commissioners are scheduled to consider adoption of the SCS in
July 2013.
