Posted: 30 Oct 2013 13:24:07
Johnson Matthey Incorporated’s Continuously Regenerating Technology (CRT®) Particulate Filter Verification Extension for On-Road Applications. The Air Resources Board (ARB) has granted an extension for Johnson Matthey Incorporated’s CRT® Particulate Filter for use with certain 1993 through 2006 on-road diesel engines. The extension includes an expansion of the system’s engine model year range, addition of ARB approved Federal certified engines, and inclusion of duty cycles where the exhaust temperature is above 260 degrees Celsius for at least 20 percent of engine operation. The CRT® Particulate Filter system employs a flow through diesel oxidation catalyst and a wall-flow diesel particulate filter with a back pressure monitor to achieve an 85 percent reduction in particulate matter emissions, qualifying it for Level 3 “Plus” verification. Specific engine families and conditions for which the CRT® Particulate Filter system has been approved may be found in the Executive Order on ARB website at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/diesel/verdev/companies/jm/crt.htm You are receiving this single arbcombo email because you are a subscriber to or have made a public comment to one or more of the following lists: diesel-retrofit, ms-mailings.
