arbcombo -- Regulatory Advisory: LCFS Regulatory Advisory 14-01 Posted: 28 Feb 2014 14:32:54
Today, California Air Resources Board staff is issuing Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) Regulatory Advisory 14-01. This Advisory provides guidance to regulated parties reporting compressed natural gas (CNG) transactions under the LCFS. Specifically, the guidance addresses the calculation of the number of standard cubic feet (scf) included in each transaction, as CNG transactions must be reported in units of scf under the LCFS. Regulatory Advisory 14-01 goes into effect immediately. This Regulatory Advisory can be accessed at http://www.arb.ca.gov/fuels/lcfs/regadvisories.htm If you have any questions regarding this document, please contact Wes Ingram, Manager, Fuels Evaluation Section, at (916) 322-3984 or via email at email@example.com. The Low Carbon Fuel Standard, a regulation to reduce the carbon intensity of fuels sold in California ten percent by 2020, is one of the measures adopted by ARB, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Sections 38500-38599 (AB 32) to reduce greenhouse gases in California. It is designed to help clean the air, protect the environment, and drive the development of clean, low-carbon fuels to improve California's energy security and energy independence. California is in a drought emergency. Visit www.SaveOurH2O.org for water conservation tips.
