The California Air Resources Board (ARB) in consultation with the
Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) will conduct a series of public
workshop to discuss and receive comments on the draft proposal
for modifying the State’s voluntary vehicle retirement program
for light-duty vehicles, referred to as the Enhanced Fleet
Modernization Program (EFMP).   

In anticipation of this week’s public workshops, the draft
proposal is now available for public review.  The document
contains a description of the proposed minimum criteria for the
program, proposed incentive amounts, and draft concepts for
program implementation.
