arbcombo -- Extension to Submit Feedback for the March 11, 2014, LCFS and iLUC Workshops

Posted: 26 Mar 2014 13:52:16
The California Air Resources Board (ARB) staff has extended by
two weeks the deadline for stakeholders to submit their feedback
from the March 11, 2014, Low Carbon Fuel Standard and Indirect
Land Use Change Workshops. The new deadline is April 11, 2014.
Please submit feedback to Ms. Katrina Sideco, Air Resources
Engineer, Fuels Section, via email at ksideco@arb.ca.gov. You may
also call her at (916) 323-1082 if you have any questions.

The LCFS, a regulation to reduce the carbon intensity of fuels
sold in California ten percent by 2020, is one of the measures
adopted by ARB, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Sections
38500-38599 (AB 32) to reduce greenhouse gases in California. It
is designed to help clean the air, protect the environment, and
drive the development of clean, low-carbon fuels to improve
California's energy security and energy independence.

California is in a drought emergency.
