localaction -- VMT Impact Tool: Local Government Training

Posted: 03 Apr 2014 15:33:54
Please join us on May 1, 2014 at 1:30 pm to learn about a
recently completed research study and tool to assist cities,
counties, and regions with estimating changes in vehicle miles
traveled (VMT) that are unique to their community and mix of
neighborhood types. By attending this training, cities, counties,
and regions will gain a better understanding of how to use the
VMT Impact Tool to prioritize local actions to reduce VMT and
take action to assist with meeting the statewide goals of AB 32
and SB 375. This training will focus on how to use the VMT
Impact Tool and interpret the results. Additional information on
the project’s methods, results, and key findings will also be
covered.
The tool, final report, and summary for policymakers for the
research project, “Quantifying the Effect of Local Government
Actions on Vehicle Miles Traveled,” are posted on the following
