arbcombo -- Update to Indirect Land Use Change (ILUC) Analysis posting on April 1, 2014
Posted: 08 Apr 2014 16:27:21
On April 1, 2014, staff posted a link to download the GTAP model from Purdue University’s website. At the same time, staff posted a program written in GEMPACK program called “LUC.zip” that generates a file with the required results in the proper format for copying into “Sample_GTAP_results_v5.xlsx.” Some stakeholders experiencing software problems related to older versions of GEMPACK requested staff to provide them with an executable file generated using the LUC.zip archive. This file has been posted at the link http://www.arb.ca.gov/fuels/lcfs/lcfs_meetings/lcfs_meetings.htm. If you have questions, please contact John Courtis at jcourtis@arb.ca.gov, or via telephone at (916) 323-2661. The Low Carbon Fuel Standard, a regulation to reduce the carbon intensity of fuels sold in California ten percent by 2020, is one of the measures adopted by the California Air Resources Board, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Sections 38500-38599 (AB 32) to reduce greenhouse gases in California. It is designed to help clean the air, protect the environment, and drive the development of clean, low-carbon fuels to improve California's energy security and energy independence. California is in a drought emergency. Visit www.SaveOurH2O.org for water conservation tips.
