Posted: 08 Sep 2014 17:04:43
California Air Resources Board (ARB) staff has posted three new
Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) fuel pathways to the LCFS public
comments website.

In keeping with section 95486 (f)(3)(E) of the LCFS Regulation,
Method 2 fuel pathway applications are posted to this web page
for public comments for ten calendar days prior to final posting
on the LCFS Method 2 pathway page
(http://www.arb.ca.gov/fuels/lcfs/2a2b/2a-2b-apps.htm). The
deadline for this comment period is at 5pm on September 18, 2014.
Responses to comments received on the biomethane from wastewater
sludge pathway have also been posted. As those responses
indicate, the pathway has been revised in light of the comments
received, and is now certified for use.

If you have any questions, please contact Wes Ingram, Manager,
Fuels Evaluation Section, at (916) 322-3984.

The Low Carbon Fuel Standard, a regulation to reduce the carbon
intensity of fuels sold in California ten percent by 2020, is one
of the measures adopted by the California Air Resources Board,
pursuant to Health and Safety Code Sections 38500-38599 (AB 32)
to reduce greenhouse gases in California. It is designed to help
clean the air, protect the environment, and drive the development
of clean, low-carbon fuels.

California is in a drought emergency.
