Online Annual Reporting is now available for use by agencies subject to the Fleet Rule for Transit Agencies. An annual report of a transit agency’s urban buses and transit fleet vehicles as of January 1, 2015 is due to the Air Resources Board no later than January 31, 2015. The website for the Online Annual Reporting Database is found at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/bus/rptg/index.php Background The Fleet Rule for Transit Agencies is designed to reduce both diesel particulate matter (PM) and oxides of nitrogen (NOx) emitted by urban buses and transit fleet vehicles that are owned and leased by transit agencies. The rule mandates that transit fleet agencies meet emission reduction requirements for both diesel PM and NOx, which can be achieved through the use of alternative fuels and through the application of Best Available Control Technology (BACT).
