consprod -- 2014 Data Reporting for the Consumer Products Program
Posted: 16 Jun 2015 10:19:42
The California Air Resources Board’s (ARB) 2014 data reporting for the Consumer Products Program begins July 1, 2015, and ends on November 1, 2015. This is the second year of a three year reporting cycle and is mandatory for all Responsible Parties that sold consumer products in California during the 2014 calendar year. In order to assist companies with the tools available for 2014 data reporting, a webinar is scheduled for July 1, 2015, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm PST. To register, click here: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/119958403. During the webinar, ARB staff will go over the 2014 data reporting requirements, present an overview of the Consumer Products Reporting Tool – 2014 (CPRT2014), discuss the upload process for 2014 data. The CPRT2014, instructions, and other supporting documents will be available July 1, 2015, on the Consumer Products Program webpage: http://www.arb.ca.gov/consprod/consprod.htm. ARB’s Consumer Products Program is a key part of overall efforts to reduce the amount of smog-forming volatile organic compounds, toxic air contaminants, and greenhouse gasses that are emitted from use of chemically formulated consumer products in California. ARB’s Consumer Products Regulations have resulted in reduced statewide emissions from consumer products by an estimated 50 percent since 1990. ARB’s 2014 Data Reporting is an important step in collecting information on consumer products that are sold or supplied for use in California. The data collected from the 2014 Data Reporting are designed to support the statewide consumer product inventory, speciation profiles used in criteria pollutant modelling, and future rulemakings.
