Staff of the California Air Resource Board has posted a Notice of Upcoming Low Carbon Fuel Standard Credits Release for Non-Metered Residential Electric Vehicle Charging. The notice is to inform the stakeholders that staff expects to complete the annual credit calculation for the prior year and place credits in the Electric Distribution Utilities’ accounts on the last working day of February of each year, starting on February 29, 2016 for credits from 2015 vehicle charging. The notice also summarizes the timeline and methodology staff used to calculate the credits of non-metered residential charging. It is designed to help clean the air, protect the environment, and drive the development of clean, low-carbon fuels to improve California's energy security and energy independence.
