Free Community Event in Stockton on May 12, 2016 from 5:30pm to
7:30pm.  

Join the Air Resources Board and other agencies to learn about
funding opportunities for your community.   

The Air Resources Board will be holding a series of community
meetings in the state for public outreach/education efforts
related to low carbon transportation investments.  Meeting
locations will focus on disadvantaged communities.
 
The purpose of these meetings is to reach out to residents of
disadvantaged communities, environmental groups, and community
based organizations to inform them about funding opportunities
related to ARB’s low carbon transportation investments.  The
community events will feature speakers from some of the other
agencies receiving funding from California Climate Investments
(cap and trade auction proceeds).  The meetings will also serve
as a platform to assess the needs of the community and get
feedback on ways to maximize disadvantaged community benefits. 
 
The first meeting of this series will be held in Stockton.
