efmp -- Work Group Teleconference: Modifications to FY 16/17 Enhanced Fleet Modernization Retirement and Replacement (EFMP) Plus-Up Funding

The Air Resources Board (ARB) is pleased to invite you to participate in a work group teleconference for Enhanced Fleet Modernization Retirement and Replacement Plus-Up (EFMP Plus-Up) Pilot Project for Fiscal Year (FY) 2016-17 Low Carbon Transportation Fund Investments and the Air Quality Improvement Program. At the June 23, 2016 Board meeting, the Board approved the proposed FY 2016-17 Funding Plan which allocated $30 million for EFMP Plus-Up. On August 31, 2016, the Legislature approved Assembly Bill (AB) 1613, which allocated a total of $80 Million for the Enhanced Fleet Modernization Program and Plus-Up Pilot Project. Of the $80,000,000, up to $20,000,000 may be used for other light-duty equity pilots. The purpose of this work group is to discuss how staff proposes to distribute the increased EFMP Plus-Up funding and expand the program to other air districts, as well as to solicit comments from the public, prior to the ARB Board meeting on October 20, 2016. An agenda will be released prior to the meeting date and posted on the website listed below.
