During the hearing, the Board expressed interest in the requirements for upwind districts to mitigate their impacts on downwind districts. The Board directed the staff to explore several concepts that might be incorporated into the transport mitigation regulations at some future date and to report back to the Board at its July meeting. The ARB staff has begun evaluating these concepts and has scheduled a public consultation meeting on Wednesday, June 13, 2001. The purpose of the consultation meeting is to discuss and obtain comments on the potential ozone transport mitigation requirements the Board suggested plus any other potential mitigation concepts. A copy of the workshop notice can be obtained from our transport web page at http://www.arb.ca.gov/aqd/transport/transport.htm. ====================================================================== You are subscribed to the air-quality-data mailing list.
