Date: Tue, 29 Jul 2003 16:26:21 -0700 From: Greg OBrien Subject: air-quality-modeling CRPAQS Modeling RFP To: Prospective Contractors Re: Request for Proposals – California Regional PM10/PM2.5 Air Quality Study (CRPAQS) Modeling Analyses of Data Captured During the CRPAQS Field Program On behalf of the San Joaquin Valleywide Air Pollution Study Agency (Study Agency), the Air Resources Board (ARB) invites you to submit proposals in response to the “Request for Proposals (RFP) on the California Regional PM10/PM2.5 Air Quality Study (CRPAQS) Modeling Analyses of Data Captured During the CRPAQS Field Program”. The RFP, as well as responses to questions raised regarding the RFP and any clarifications or modifications, will be posted on the Study web site located at: http://www.arb.ca.gov/airways/crpaqs/RFPs/default.htm. A hardcopy of the RFP can also be mailed upon request. As required by the Study Agency attorney, all proposals must certify that the organizations offering to perform the contracted services have not been disqualified as participants in federally funded projects. Eligibility for award may also require certification that recipients comply with all regulations relating to the award of federal funds. Special consideration of eligibility in the selection process may be requested in accordance with federal guidelines. If you desire to respond to the RFP, proposals must be submitted in accordance with the guidelines discussed in the RFP. The proposal must be signed by an official authorized to bind the offeror, and it must contain a statement to the effect that the proposal is firm for a period of not less than 120 days after the final submittal date. We anticipate that the recommended contractors will be selected at the October 2003 meeting of the CRPAQS Policy Committee. The Committee’s decision will then be presented to the Study Agency for approval in November 2003. Our office will notify responsive applicants as to which contractors the Study Agency approves.
