Subject: desig Public Workshop Notice-Area Designations

The staff of the California Air Resources Board invites you to
participate in a public workshop and provide input about the
proposed area designations for State ambient air quality
standards.  The workshop will be held 10:00 a.m. November 15,
2005 at Cal-EPA, 1001 “I” Street, Training Room 1 West & East,
First Floor, Sacramento, California.  Although staff has
reviewed area designations for all pollutants with State
standards, the focus of the workshop will be proposed changes to
ozone designations based on both the State 1-hour average ozone
standard and the recent Board adopted 8-hour average ozone
standard.
