Written comments on the proposed regulatory amendments must be received by September 4, 2012 in order to be considered by the Executive Officer. No oral public hearing is currently scheduled, but you may, by August 20, 2012, request the Executive Officer to conduct a public hearing. Your request must be in writing and just comply with the requirements of Government Code section 11346.8(a). If an oral public hearing is requested by that date, it will be conducted by the Executive Officer or his or her delegate pursuant to the authority set forth in Health and Safety Code (H&SC) sections 39515 and 39516 and California Code of Regulations, title 17, section 70306. Notice of the time, date, and place of any hearing, if requested, will be provided by separate notice.
