The eMission DPF achieves at least an 85 percent reduction in PM emissions qualifying it for a Level 3 Plus verification. Level 3 Plus verification means that the system will reduce diesel PM emissions by 85 percent or more and meets the January 2009 nitrogen dioxide (NO2) limit. Specific engine conditions for which the eMission DPF has been approved may be found in the executive order. This stationary emergency standby generator verification executive order is available on our website at the link below: http://www.arb.ca.gov/diesel/verdev/vt/stationary.htm The Regulation for the Verification Procedure for In-Use Strategies to Control Emissions from Diesel Engines was created and adopted by our Board on May 16, 2002. The goal of the Verification Procedure is to ensure that verified systems produce emissions reductions consistent with the verification level and that they are durable and compatible with various engines and applications. Additional information on the regulation is available at the following link: http://www.arb.ca.gov/diesel/verdev/verdev.htm If you have any questions regarding this verification, please contact John Lee at 916.327.5975 or via e-mail at john.lee@arb.ca.gov. The Air Resources Board has verified the Huss FS-MK filter as a Level 3 Plus diesel emission control system for use with certain off-road diesel engines rated to at most 810 horsepower. The FS-MK series of filters uses a silicon carbide wall-flow filter with a fuel burner for regeneration to achieve an 85 percent reduction in particulate matter emissions.
