This message is to notify you that the Scientific Review Panel
Approved Version of the report, "Proposed Identification of
Environmental Tobacco Smoke as a Toxic Air Contaminate- June 24,
2005," is now available for your information at:

With the SRP approval of the report, staff will initiate a
public rulemaking process to amend the California Code of
Regulations to include ETS as a TAC. You will be notified
through this list serve when the public rulemaking process
begins.

This message is to notify you that the Air Resources Board’s
public hearing notice and initial statement of reasons report,
entitled "Proposed Identification of Environmental Tobacco Smoke
as a Toxic Air Contaminant, December 9, 2005” is available. The
public hearing notice initiates a 45-day comment period on
staff’s proposal to amend the California Code of Regulations to
add Environmental Tobacco Smoke to California’s list of Toxic
Air Contaminants.
