Biomethane is produced from biogas, which comes from the digestion of many substrates like manure, garbage, or wastewater solids. It has the potential to provide Californians and the nation with a safe, renewable supply of natural gas as a fuel for transportation. Countries in Europe and abroad have been integrating this science for years with great success—not only in agricultural applications but also in municipal transit, refuse collection, and combined heating and power. The summit format combines a conference with a tradeshow to allow attendees to view products and meet the technology providers and developers actively involved in this innovative field.
