The California Air Resources Board has scheduled several upcoming
events related to the implementation of AB 32, the California
Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006.  The specific events are:

   * November 29, 2006:  Conference on Economic Impact Modeling
     of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Market and Non-Market 

     based Strategies (some background materials have been 
     posted)
   * December 1, 2006:  Workshop on Greenhouse Gas Emission 
     Inventory and Mandatory Reporting (workshop notice now
     available)
   * January 9, 2007:  Public Workshop on AB 32 Implementation 
     Plan and Schedule, and AB 32 Discrete Early Actions

Information regarding these workshops will be posted when
available and can be found at the ARB Climate Change website at
http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/cc.htm .

In addition, ARB staff will be participating in an upcoming
Greenhouse Gas Emission Inventory workshop hosted by the
California Energy Commission.  Information regarding the date,
location and agenda for that workshop will be posted on the ARB
Climate Change website when available.
