Subject: arbcombo -- Extension of Public Comment Period for the Specially Constructed Vehicles Second Notice of Public Availability of Modified Text

The Air Resources Board (ARB or Board) is extending the comment
period for the modified text for the proposed specially
constructed vehicle (kit car) regulation, which was released
August 8, 2012. 

The deadline was originally August 23, 2012, but is now extended
to August 31, 2012.  The deadline is being extended because the
ARB staff inadvertently omitted one proposed modification to the
regulatory language in the August 8, 2012, notice. That proposed
modification is described in the Extension of Comment Period
Notice and can be accessed from our website at the address:
