This page links to the California Air Resources Board's (CARB) formal regulatory documents for AB 118 related activities. AB 118 directs CARB to adopt guidelines for the administration of the Air Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) and the Enhanced Fleet Modernization Program. In addition, AB 118 directs CARB to develop guidelines for the AQIP and the Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technology Program (ARFVTP) to ensure that both programs compliment, and do not interfere with, California's existing air quality programs.
FORMAL REGULATORY DOCUMENTS FOR THE AB 118 AQIP GUIDELINES
CARB has posted the formal regulatory documents for the AB 118 AQIP Guidelines. These guidelines establish the overall administrative requirements for the program through 2015 and apply to all funding years. This regulation was approved at CARB's April 2009 Board Meeting in Diamond Bar.
FORMAL REGULATORY DOCUMENTS FOR THE AB 118 AIR QUALITY GUIDELINES
CARB has posted the formal regulatory documents for the AB 118 Air Quality Guidelines. These guidelines set standards that CARB and the California Energy Commission will use to initially evaluate potential projects for incentive funding under AQIP and ARFVTP and are designed to screen out those projects that would interfere with existing air quality programs. The regulation was approved at CARB's September 2008 Board Meeting in Diamond Bar.
