Clean Air and Children’s Health Meeting

    The California Air Resources Board will meet in Huntington Park from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 17. to discuss air quality, children’s health and other clean air issues.

    From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. the Board will hear information on enforcing air pollution regulations and on children’s health research.  The public is welcome to attend and to ask questions or make comments.

    The Board will also discuss California Phase 3 Reformulated Gasoline and the fact that air quality and cost may be affected if ethanol is required to replace MTBE when that additive is discontinued by December 31, 2002.

Junta Sobre Aire Limpio y Salud Infantil

    El Consejo de Recursos Atmosféricos (ARB, siglas en ingles) llevara a cabo una junta en la Cuidad de Huntington Park el Jueves, 17 de Mayo de 5:00 p.m. a las 9:00 p.m. en el centro Oldtimers Family Center. La reunión se llevara a cabo en el 3355 al este de la Avenida Gage, allí se discutirán asuntos sobre la calidad del aire, salud infantil y otros asuntos sobre la limpieza del aire.

    De 5 a 6 de la tarde el ARB escuchara información acerca de enforzar regulaciones de contaminantes del aire y de investigaciones sobre salud infantiles. Miembros de publico son invitados a atender, hacer preguntas o comentarios

    El ARB también discutirá la Fase 3 de la Gasolina Reformulada en California y el hecho
de que la calidad del aire y el costo serán afectados si el aditivo Etano es requerido  para remplazar al aditivo MTBE cuando este sea descontinuado el 31 de Diciembre del 2002.
