SACRAMENTO– The California Air Resources Board (ARB) will hold a public meeting to consider the approval of proposed Environmental Justice policies and actions.

Staff has developed several environmental justice policies with input from the general public, community and environmental groups, industry and other regulatory agencies. The public is invited to present their comments on these proposed environmental justice policies and actions.
CARB's mission is to promote and protect public health, welfare, and ecological resources through effective reduction of air pollutants while recognizing and considering effects on the economy. The CARB oversees all air pollution control efforts in California to attain and maintain health based air quality standards.
