The Labor and Workforce Development Agency (LDWA) and California Air Resources Board (CARB) invite you to participate in a work group teleconference meeting on developing procedures for certifying manufacturers of vehicles included in the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) as fair and responsible in the treatment of their workers.  The Budget Act of 2017 as amended by Assembly Bill (AB) 134 requires LDWA and CARB to develop these procedures.  AB 134 also states the intent of the Legislature to limit CVRP eligibility to manufacturers certified by the Labor Secretary as fair and responsible in their treatment of workers starting with fiscal year 2018-19.  The purpose of this work group is to seek input from the public on the process for certifying manufacturers.
