| Description | The California Air Resources Board (CARB or Board) invites you to participate in the third public work group meeting to discuss clean mobility investment projects and the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-23 clean mobility update to the three-year plan for clean transportation equity investments. Senate Bill (SB) 1275 (De León, Chapter 530, Statutes of 2014) required CARB to include a long-term plan for the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) and related programs, including clean mobility investment projects, in the FY 2016-17 Funding Plan and to update the plan every three years through January 1, 2023. This second major update to the plan covers the period between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2025. The purpose of this meeting is to recap the previous public work groups and additional discussions with stakeholders on long-term plan development and provide more information on a proposal to implement mobility funding based on the Governor’s May Revised Budget and funding projections. CARB anticipates more discussion on evaluation of clean mobility investment progress, benefits, and gaps, as well as mobility program policy updates that set the stage for future changes and investment opportunities. The meeting will conclude with next steps leading up to the late Fall 2022 Board meeting. The meeting agenda and any handouts will be posted to the Low Carbon Transportation Investments Meetings and Workshops website ahead of the meeting. |
