OPC’s Senate Bill 1 SLR Adaptation Planning Grant Program (SB 1 Grant Program) is open to proposals from local, regional, and tribal governments. The overall goal of the SB 1 Grant Program is to provide funding to develop sea level rise (SLR) adaptation plans and projects to build resilience to SLR along the entire coast of California and San Francisco Bay.

See the SB 1 Grant Program Solicitation (PDF) for details of this funding opportunity. Applicants must use the Track 1 proposal template (MS Word .docx). Full proposals are due Friday, March 22 at 5:00 p.m. PT to be considered for funding and brought to our June 2024 OPC Meeting.

Track 1 proposals are accepted on a rolling, quarterly, non-competitive basis; please see the solicitation for further details.
