On March 15, 2018, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) held an initial public workshop for the Fiscal Year 2018-19 Low Carbon Transportation Investments and Air Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) Funding Plan.  The meeting presented the Governor’s Proposed Budget with an allocation of $100 million for light-duty vehicle transportation equity projects.  On April 4, 2018, CARB held a public work group teleconference to provide project updates for the suite of CARB’s transportation equity projects, which includes the Enhanced Fleet Modernization Project (EFMP), EFMP Plus-up, CleanCars4All, Financing Assistance for Lower-Income Consumers, Car Sharing and Clean Mobility Options, Agricultural Worker Vanpools, and the Rural School Bus pilot projects.  This public work group teleconference will present staff’s allocation recommendations for these projects and will provide more detail for the EFMP, EFMP Plus-up, CleanCars4All and Financing Assistance for Lower-Income Consumers projects.  The public is invited to discuss and provide input on these concepts with CARB staff.
