| Description | The California Department of Community Services & Development (CSD) has released a Community Solar Pilot Program Design Outline document to provide interested parties with updated information on the anticipated pilot program framework, and requirements for projects to be funded with $5 million of CSD’s California Climate Investments appropriation. Subsequent Program Guidelines will be released to outline the final program design and provisions. Awardees are to be selected through a competitive procurement process later this year. The Low-Income Weatherization Program (LIWP) Community Solar Pilot Program Design Outline is available at CSD is accepting public comments on this document until June 6, 2018 at LIWP@csd.ca.gov. The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has also released the Draft Community Solar Pilot Quantification Methodology and Draft Community Solar Pilot Benefits Calculator Tool. These documents should be reviewed in conjunction with CSD’s Community Solar Pilot Program Design Outline.
