The California Department of Community Services and Development (CSD) will be conducting a workshop in Salinas to share information with community-based organizations and other stakeholders on the new Farmworker Housing Component of the LIWP Single-Family Energy Efficiency and Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Program.

The workshop will provide information on updates to the program design based on stakeholder feedback received at recent workshops held in Fresno and Bakersfield, and provide additional technical details on the proposed energy efficiency measure offerings and bid costing tool.  

Workshop participants will have the option to attend in-person or participate via webinar. Registration and webinar details will be provided prior to the workshop.

The Farmworker Housing Component will be a new offering under LIWP focused on serving farmworker households. Under this LIWP component, CSD is scheduled to allocate a total of $10 million for energy efficiency and solar PV improvements to farmworker housing across 12 counties.
