Hello, CARB: Here are CGNP's comments. The package contains 4 pages with CGNP's comments followed by 30 pages of relevant supporting materials. CGNP looks forward to having careful CARB consideration of this packet. CGNP is particularly concerned about the unprecedented emissions leakage that would occur if the State of California plan to close Diablo Canyon Power Plant in 2025 occurs. Emission-free Diablo Canyon would be replaced in large part by emission-laden Wyoming coal-fired generation. CGNP was alerted to some elements of the State of California plan when CGNP had a tour at CAISO's headquarters on May 20, 2016, more than a month before the secret plan to close Diablo Canyon was unveiled on June 21, 2016.
